Formatting Information
Your paper should be formatted according to the IEEE Computing Society
Proceedings format. You can find the templates and description of this
format here. In particular there are instructions, layout
and sample templates in the FTP archive of CS press:
- Author guideline as plain text (ftp,
http).
- Layout template in PDF (ftp,
http),
PS (ftp,
http)
or MSWord (ftp,
http).
- Sample document with instructions in PDF (ftp,
http)
or MSWord (ftp,
http).
- Latex package with instructions (ftp,
http)
macros and formats in one zip file (ftp,
http).
The latex8.sty/latex8.bst format should comply with with the required
layout.
Please submit your paper as a fully formatted PDF
document, with all special fonts except for the standard 13
fonts included (standard fonts are Times Roman, New Times Roman,
Courier, Helvetica, Arial...). Please quickly check the document info
in all the free acrobat readers under Manu:File:Documents
Properties:Fonts. If you are unable to print or distill into PDF you
can alternatively submit a printer file in Postscript or a source file
in MS Word or LaTeX. If you are submitting a source format make sure it
is self contained and includes all fonts and macros (in a zip file).
Page limits
Your final camera ready original for full papers and workshop papers should
be no more than 10 pages
long. There will be a per-page charge for papers that go over 10 pages
in length as follows: $50.00 for the first extra page, and $100.00 for
each additional extra page. This charge is to be paid as part of the
registration fee for the conference (there will be a space on the
registration form for this fee).
For posters you can either submit a single page abstract or a two page
extended abstract formatted with the same style than the full papers.
Posters are limited to 2 pages and
there are no option to buy extra pages.
Note that, as stated on the IEEE web page, the main body of the text
should be single-spaced, two columns, and in 10-point
font. This is a very compact format, so your original drafts submitted
for review will shrink a lot in size.
